SKR Pro or other board

Hi and greetings from Sweden

Me and my son are planning to build a CNC router, mostly for fun, but we still would like it be a little bit powerful.

So far we have these parts:
3 pcs 57BYGH627, Nema 23 with 280oz-in, 3.0A and the drivers DQ542MA

Power supply, 360w, 15A

8mm Acme Lead screws, for 3 axis,

A lot of v-slot profiles with brass nuts, couplers, linear rail shafts and bearings.

And a 3D-printer

In other words, we have most of the parts, might need one additional motor with driver and a lead screw for a double Z-axis. But on the other hand I have a couple of Nema 17 motors laying around that could be used for the Y-axis.

My biggest issue for the moment is the board, will the drivers work with the SKR Pro board? Is there a better option? I wouldn’t mind having the option to be able to add a laser in the future.

All input is appreciated!

Anders
