i got rc8 mpcnc511_glcd_t8 from vicious and it said no edits needed. but it might be me but i don’t know enough about coding an arduino so i could use some help.
You need to update your arduino, we are on at least 1.8 now, yours is 1.0 there was a major change at 1.6.

that was the issue thanks for the help ryan. I’m back in business i swapped to the 8mm rod this seems much better to me.
