I broke the piece that clamps around the bit for z probing. I bought the z touch plate from the V1 shop. I just need the claw thing, anyone know what that’s called so I can find a new one?

There is magnet in the pack too. You should be able to magnet the alligator clip (or what is left) to the bit too.
AKA: roach clip… Ask your old hippy friends why it’s called that…

Does anyone know the search term to get the one thats on the touch plate? I have one coming this week, but aligator lead always gets the wrong result, and keen to know what they are really called to get the right part?

Put a M3 flat head with a washer and lock nut on the other end. Wrap the wire around the screw between magnet and washer.
Slap that magnet on your tool and do your probing.
