Stainless steel tubing - finish

I am in the process of upgrading from the burly to a primo. I am getting ready to purchase stainless steel tubing. I wanted to see if anyone had any advice on the finish of the tubing? I have two options, 1” with a wall thickness of 0.049” with a “mill finish” and 0.065” with “180 grit finish”

Does anyone have any comments on whether I want the mill finish or the smoother 180 grit? There is probably 10-20$ difference and I wanted to make sure that if I get tubing it will be alright for a while and maybe save a bit of money if I can.

Cheers

.065 is what is specified I got the ornamental grade but I would guess it doesn’t matter as the conduit some use isn’t polished. The polished does look nicer.

@Silly_Northener it depends on your build size but I’d go with the 0.065” for improved stiffness. You may also want to confirm that the OD is actually 1” so you don’t run into any fit issues.
