The status flags on M122 don’t last long. You have to catch it right after it is failing. The TMC drivers and M122 have told me before about wiring issues (ola/olb) and over temperature (otwarn).

Does M122 S1 output flags as they happen (ie continuous output mode)?
I haven’t tried. I thought it was publishing them periodically, not on change. But I haven’t looked at the code or tried it.
