Structural supports

Hi, I want to ask you People something. Here in Argentina it is sold some structural supports, that are Iron pipes with 25.4mm od and a thickness of 2 mm. May I use them instead of the conduit?? Thanks

Probably have to run slower, the tubes are going to weigh more, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Worst case, it will make the moving parts too heavy, so you could replace those with stainless, but keep the outer pipes the structural steel tube, since it’s not moving, they can be solid and not really make much of a difference.

Thank you, I wasn’t aware of the weight issue, I was thinking Just on the structure sturdiness. No I’m going to use them for the outer partes and use Steel for the inner as you said, it Will cost the same as using conduit for all. Thank you for the great idea.
