T-Track

Any one use any T-Track system? pleas share.

I printed my own, using a design by PCFlyer on thingiverse. They’re designed to use regular 1/4-20 carriage bolts, which are cheap and easy to get, at least here in the states. Details are in this thread: https://www.v1engineering.com/forum/topic/20x30-inch-build/.

They work great, but I think I will eventually swap out my t-slots for threaded inserts.

Using printed T-slot, but I’m upgrading to some aluminum slot I found online.

What I’ve decided on is three channels running in the Y-axis on my 20x20" spoil board, deep enough to withstand one or two resurfacings. Left and right of the spoiler I’ll place Y-direction tracks outside of the cutting area, and the same above and below in the X-direction, to hold the pieces that will be done in multiple cuts or are too large to clamp in the cutting area safely.

Good luck!

I just drilled 1 1/2" holes in my spoil board and use clamps.

I considered printing t track and using coach bolts, but finally settled on threaded inserts in a spill board, with a replaceable waste board on top, that can be resurfaced a couple of times then thrown away and replaced cheaply.
