I had not seen this technique before of clearing aluminum while cutting by putting a piece of tape on spindle nut to act as a fan blade. Here is the link at the 1:23 time code where he uses it.

I’ve seen that done a few times. There’s even a few 3d printed fans you can attach if you’re brave enough.
