I’ve been wanting to try the 4-tube variant lowrider for a while now and I just got around to milling a bit of aluminum last night. I have dubbed this version “The Sandwich” My son called it a cheesburger.
I made a mistake and used a derived toolpath from a facing operation to make a bore operation that had a 2000mm/min feedrate with an 6.35mm 4-flute bit… and it worked! No skipped steps though the hole was a bit out of round.
Please ignore the masking tape. I can’t seem to shake my habit for cheap adhesives.
