Hi Everyone,
Absolute newbie here for CNC. I printed the parts last year and finally got around to ordering the electronics and hardware last week. Those came in and I have the machine almost put together but have a question. In the picture i attached you can see the threaded rod and it extends down past the tool mount. Is this right or do I need to trim? Im guessing I do as the Z Axis would be different length depending on how much travel you wanted. Thanks in advance.
