Uneven Base Pieces

Even after measuring twice and cutting once, none of my base pieces are equal in length to each other. I’ll use the fact that I’m still getting used to my new reciprocating saw as the excuse this time.

Any ideas for what to do? Could I simply adjust the mounts and screw them in to the appropriate height? Should I scrap the pieces and start over, trying to get them as close to equal as possible? Something else?

You have room to move in both the lock and feet. No big deal.

You could also be anal like me and take them to a bench grinder to make sure the cuts were perpendicular and all the pieces were the same length. But that’s overkill…
