So, I was wondering if we could possibly crate a Wiki for the MPCNC.
I am probably a stereotypical buyer, where I have no idea how to operate a cnc but went ahead anyways and jumped on board.
Ryan has been extremely helpful, and honestly I’m very lucky to have come across this. But I’m going to be honest, I have struggled and am still struggling.
So this is where I have come to an idea, Ryan has made this so that more people have access to something that, normally wouldn’t have been able to obtain, so let’s help out.
I think a Wiki page should be created. That way we can all contribute, and help. We all have our strengths and weaknesses so by creating a Wiki page, we can combine all our strengths.
I am going to write up this week a step by step instruction, where it helps total newbs (like me) walk them thru it…and anything else I can help.
would it be better to put it here, http://www.reprap.org/wiki/Mostly_Printed_CNC or do you think it would be better if I try to find someway to make a user editable page on the site?
That is more of a menu, If I put it on the site it wouldn’t be user editable like a wiki. Or am I missing something?
It’s a super simple and free knowledge base plugin – but requires access to the Wordpress dashboard. Which won’t work for you from what I can now tell.
Why not just install a real wiki (alongside your Wordpress installation) like one of these :
