I am using MM/sec. I promise. I really am. I am quite certain.
That setting is in two places in one of them the setting you should be using mm/m. It is all on that page. It is really worth a double check.
Hmmm… My last post did not appear.
I went over the settings and found that when I changed from mm/min to mm/sec I changed it in the Maverick settings also. Wrong move on my part. I have changed that setting back to mm/min.
My initial settings for the new xy & z rapids was 20 and 7. I now have them set to 2100 & 480.
Those two corrections have me making reasonable progress towards good cuts.
I had been doing pretty well producing some decent work and getting the hang of how everything was playing until the Z axis issue showed itself and things kind of fell apart. Now I am making forward progress again.

How does the tool change work in ESTLCAM and Repetier? I set it up so there is a tool change after the rough cut, but I was unable to figure out how to start repetier again with the new tool.
The easiest way is to make it 2 separate tool paths, homing before each on with a z touch pad or some other way to make sure all three axis are at 0,0,0.
