Working area 900 x 600 mm - LR2 or MPCNC

it might fall over at that height.

I left mine long and I think it is fine (on a low rider).

The extra just hangs below the table.

The reason is, I buy my tubes in 1 m length - and I already have some lead screw leftovers, so I would just save some cutting and leave room for expansion if needed.

The tubes will never be fully pushed up, I might put in some sort of end switch to prevent that.

Another maybe silly idea - would it make sense to attach any weight for more stability?

The CG needs to be outside the footprint for it to topple over. With the wheels being 8" or so apart, I think you’d have to go pretty high and then bump it for it to tip. The extra weight will mean a less agile Y all the time, so that’s no fun.

I think the biggest risk is scratching your legs on them or something.
