Y axis (Long Axis)

One stepper motor moves “faster” than the other, could this be something as simple as belt tension or belt length?

What happens when it moves is one side (from what i can tell the “slower” one with bind by hitting the side rail of my table.
The attached picutre is what I am seeing albeit slightly exaggerated so I could explain what it was doing.

Check the grub/set screws in the motor pulley on the slow side haven’t worked loose.

Looks like that was it! Thanks! I’m going to run it for a bit to make sure then I’ll mark it as the solution

You might consider adding a temporary threadlocking compound (e.g. blue locktite) to all the grub screws. They have shown a tendency to work lose over time.

Fingernail polish works and will break loose when you need to loosen the bolt (nut)
