My y axis keeps losing steps on any cnc machine, including LR.
Could it be a bug
You write “any cnc mancine” meaning you have tried this with multiple CNC machines? What machines? Is the output identical? You can run your g-code through a g-code simulator like this one to verify that your authoring tools are producing correctly. Beyond that you should verify that the feedrate you are using are within the limits of your machine. If you post the g-code file you are using, we can take a look at the feedrates.
But this looks like a mechanical issue with your machine, not a software bug or a feedrate issue.
