No, that’s not good. You might be able to straighten it, though a trip to Lowes or Home Depot would be easier.

That rod is horrible, When you get a new one roll them on a flat surface first, there might not be any straight ones. Hopefully you have a few shops nearby.
Wondering how that happened, I bought the kit from the store and have barely used it.
Is it just in the coupler crooked? I have a few hundred spares so I made sure to check them pretty well. You also might want to try flipping it over one side is always better than the other. I ship them with the nut on the bad side so the coupler end is open…
That is what I am thinking. I removed the rod and it appears pretty straight, I might do the Z axis upgrade now.
