Another cribbage board... Nothing went right

It started out great… Then I had origin wrong and

Ok, I’ll patch it

Looked good… Except, I didn’t make the patch deep enough

So… Resin to the rescue

Wow nice save! Where do you buy your resin? I am about to try some (bought a small ecopoxy kit from Windsor Plywood. I have small serving board to make.

That’s exactly what I get. It’s great, but it’s a full 72 hours to cure. Which is a long wait. It’ll be tacky until then. Do not touch it! Lol

I get my powder pigments from Amazon though. Larger quantities for the same price.

That patch is some glorious work, Looks like a moon or something like you meant for it to be there.

Yeah, that was a “happy accident”

You never admit. It was planed that way after the accident for people here and everyone else it was planned from the beginning :grinning: no need to admit

Looks good. What bit do you use to get the nice flat bottoms in the carve? Are you using two different operations? They look nice and flat.

Just the v bit from here

You could try Art N Glow Epoxy Resin. Can only do shallow / small pours but it cures much faster.
