Not for printer 3d … is for make 3d Wood part on a cnc
I have been using Aspire and it works well. But any 3D model can be cut in wood so it does not matter what made it as long as you can get a STL out. Estlcam can work most .stl files for CAM
If you ask 10 different people, you will get 10 different answers.
I use onshape to do the CAD and then export DXF to use in Estlcam for the CAM.
There are more options in the software workflow doc. There you can the different parts you need, and what choices are available for each type.

Alot depends on your skill level and price range… if you are not familiar with cad and want to start learning, I recommend tinkercad… if you want something more powerful and free, freecad is good and has a built in cam (though I don’t know how it’s cam plug-in compares to estlcam). Solidworks and fusion 360 are good but also expensive. And there are a lot of in betweens such as corelCad.
