I am in the process of working on dust collection. I just got a deal on the big 70 gallon dust collector from harbor freight. I see that the port on the lowrider is 1 1/4. Are you guys just hooking the hose directly onto the port on the lowrider or is there and adapter being used? Locally, all I have seen that is 1 1/4 is pool hose and they all have hard ends on them. How is everyone attaching their dust collectors and what type of hose and where are you sourcing the hose for the best price?
I bought this from Amazon and the ends unscrew from the hose. The bare hose then slips (tight fit) right onto the dust collection shoe:
