Greetings from Romania. I have begun building a MPCNC, i have a i3 Prusa printer with Nema 17 steppers and the board uses 4 out of 5 outputs embedded for the steppers. For the Z axis it uses 2 steppers in series, so I want to ask if: Do i need another mainboard, arduino, and drivers for the steppers in MPCNC or could i use my printer’s electronics?( i want to dismantle and use steppers guide bolts electronics, source,etc.
Would it be possible to use 2 series cables for the X and Y axis to sum up the 4 steppers needed?
