The idea was to have it as edge lit piece, unfortunately acrylic I got wasn’t clear on both sides.
On a positive side it works well without LEDs, on a negative side getting edge lights was a waste of effort.

This is such a cool idea. So for future reference you use clear if you want edge lights? Would there be any benefit to use a frosted surface when doing a surface like this? Great work!
@brenavich980 For edge lit it should be clear on both sides, this way light passes through clear sides without reflecting and only engraved lines will lit up. With a frosted side, light doesn’t go through the whole piece it starts getting reflected of the frost side close to LED strips and fades away, it’s easy to see at the end of the video at 6:30 mark:
