G code recognition

Hi I’m an ancient living fossil and new to this so please be kind
Ok. Ive made the lowrider 2 CNC and after many attempts it works.
I’ve used an SKR1.4 board with 5160 drivers. It all looks good and the steppers run in the right directions when using the TFT screen move commands.
I’ve created a test file in Kirimoto and downloaded the g code to my card.
I put the card in the TFT slot
The system tells me that it recognises the card.
But it doesn’t see any code on it.
Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong please.

This is a total shot in the dark, but do the files produced by Kirimoto have the ‘.gcode’ extension? Some CAM software defaults to ‘.nc’ extension. Also you might try holding your knob down for 10 seconds to put display in Marlin mode and see if you can see the files in this mode.

They have the .nc extension
Thanks for the reply

Hello. I changed the file extension to .geode and it all works…open the champagne!!!
