just powered up the lr2 for the first time. power indicator light on the rambo 1.3 board is on but status light is not. lcd flickers and makes a faint beep every time it flickers but wont come on. read through the troubleshooting posts and will try some of the suggestions there. any other advice would be greatly appreciated. rick
For me it was getting the lcd ribbon cables oriented correctly and on the correct header on the board. You can just try different combos until you get it right. Be sure to power down before switching the cables

thanks for the response! the lcd cables were ok but the “z” and “x” were in the wrong slots. can’t believe that would make a difference…lol. seems to work fine now. getting closer to actually doing something with it.
