I woke up this morning to a perfect shift in layers. I had no worries of this type of failure. I have never had a layer shift. I need advice is this salvageable? Or is it 479g of waste?
I would say give it a shot. It should work the funky part is just high enough to probably not matter much. tensioning the top two clamps might be a little more touchy than normal.
Thanks, I will give it a try I was worried that the orientation of the lead screw was going to be to far off for smooth motion.
It might, but you have it, so I think it is worth a shot. It will take less time to try it than to reprint it. Then you will know for sure.
