Hi all!Still building my Used-to-be-a-CubeX now 3-axis laser. I guess I should update that post, I finished designing/cutting a prototype gantry (currently in birch and PLA with TLAR technology, I’ll make a final one in aluminum). So now, I’ve got the steppers in and up, they’re moving with skr2, very crude marlin 2209 config. My question is, what’s everybody’s advice on firmware? Marlin, grbl, etc. I hear grbl is used in most laser stuff, but I wouldn’t know where to start. I THINK I’ll try lightburn for my stuff, but I’ve honestly never run a laser that measured less than 12ftx6ft so I’m kinda clueless. You can move this to OffTopic if you want, I just coinflipped it.
