Has anyone tried using a printed LM8UU replacement?
This one looks pretty good, I had one of the bearings break on me in shipping so I’m going to give it a shot in a less critical location to see how it fairs.

I used these on my toy printer. They actually work pretty well, even though the rods I’m using are actually threaded:
The author says they last a long time, and suggests a good calibration procedure.
I printed two out as a test and they seem pretty dang good def worth a shot. Should have everything else I need tonight for a test run so we will see.
I had a terrible time with them - could be cause there were other terrible things wrong with my printer though!
I did run them on my anet a8 for a considerable period without issues though.
I’ll be interested to hear how you go!
