Hey guys, Sorry if this has already been covered but I can’t find the answer! I’m looking to build a 4ft X 4ft lowrider for a couple of upcoming projects in ply/osb but I was wondering would it be possible to also cut/drill 1-2mm thick aluminium sheet on the same machine?
Is that 1-2mm?
Yes to these items, as for the aluminum sheet. What thickness? 1-2 means nothing with out units!

Yes 1-2mm
You’ll be able to cut that. If you search around, maybe in the “Things You’ve Made” section you can likely find some advice on feeds, speeds, and DOC which you’ll still likely have to tweak to suit your machine, your bit, and the alloy you’re cutting… You may also need to blow air on the cutting tool, especially if you’re working with a ‘gummy’ alloy.
