LowRider Z axis issues

just got my machine assembled…
I have the SKR PRO1.2, 2209 DRIVERS my router is dwp611
my Z axis is not able to lift the router when its to one side…
I found the driver current in the software, and its set to 900ma
what should it be…???
if i increase the current will it then lift the z axis?

900 should be fine if you are using all the recommended hardware.

Sounds like a build issue. Post a few detailed pics and an overall pic so we can take a look. If you can’t easily turn the Z screws by hand, neither can the steppers. There are several common mistakes that cause this.

here are some pictures I’m in midstream of the build, I was stopped dead when i rain into the z axis issue…
i did change the z motor to 1000ma and this helped but I’m sure its not the answer…
the z ball screws are free to the point when the motor starts skipping they actually go backwards and the side of the gantry moves down about 2 to 3 inches…
I added the helper details to the bottom of the ball-screw nut but no change…
I also need advice on where to connect my control box fans…
thank you
