Purchased the kit with skr board and touch screen from V1 , finally got everything setup , went to dd files to cut out a test piece , and nothing I do will allow the sd card to be read. in Touch screen mode I get read errors. in Marlin mode I get no media message.

SD Shows up in windows and is formatted in FAT32 ( Checked this a few times) putting the sd card into a USB reader to plug into the board does nothing as well.

Any ideas?

The V1 firmware only uses the SD card int he TFT, it does NOT use the SD card in the mainboard.

Aside from that, just make sure that you have all 3 of the cables plugged in appropriately.

That was a huge fail on MY part, totally didn’t realize the TFT had an SD slot. Thank you so much!
