Looking for a new electric sander. What do you all recommend/prefer? Palm (vibration) or an orbital sander?
Random orbital with sped control. Does 99% of what I need. Amazingly, the Velcro backed paper is super cheap online in bulk.

An orbital sander is great. I also recommend a hand-held belt sander. Useful for many tasks, but can also be clamped down on it’s back and used as a stationary sander. Great when you want a little more precision when sanding.

I can’t remember the last time I used my palm sander. My RO gets all the work.
