Niiice!

I did not compared it yet, but is there any gain of working area on the same machine footprint between the Primo and the LR3 ?

Perhaps a bit along the rail dimension, but the win for me will be the rigidity of the gantry and not having flex in the long dimensions. A lot less tubular hardware too.

For the same table size, the Primo will have a larger working area.

From the Calculator pages, if you enter a 600mm by 600mm work area, the Primo table comes out to 870X879mm and the LR3 table (9.5mm plate thickness) is 925X983mm

Remember also that the Primo rails overhang the table edges by a little, so the total machine footprint is 972X981mm which means that the Primo takes up a little more space in the room.
