Rambo 1.4 E0 (2nd X-axis) fried by mistake

Hello all,
Unfortunately, I accidentally caused a short circuit on the lower side of the Rambo 1.4 board today. On the X-axis, channel E0 has failed, the motors are fine and tested. Is it possible to map channel E0 to the spare channel of the Z-axis via SW?

To be on the safe side, I will order a replacement board, although the shipping costs are almost equal to the price of the board.

There is no spare channel of the Z. The second Z port is just wired in parallel with the Z axis and shouldn’t be used.

You can wire the X axis in series and then don’t home that axis anymore. You can still cut, but you will need to make it square as possible before engaging the motors. Some stop blocks will help.
