Recommended Router or spindle

Hi,

newbie here and ready to make a purchase of ,y first MPCNC. Just wondering want kind or router or spindle. Especially since i would like to get the right mount when i order.

Would like to cut aluminum primarily and if possibly some mild steel. Not looking for precision.

i run a maketa RT0700’s series
most of the guys here run either maketa RT0700’s (or their knockoffs)
or the dewalt DW660

I have done aluminum no problem on the maketa.
Never tried mild steel though

Cutting metal is not so dependent on the router. The Makita does have variable speed which allows a bigger window in settings.
