steppers temperature

I’m almost done, making the last adjustments and doing tests. Drawing with pencil for hours. I wanted to make complex drawings to determine if there were steps lost or problems. Until now none. I have a doubt, after a long time drawing the steppers are quite warm, especially the Z axis. It is very cold where I have the CNC, less than 10 degrees celcius, and the engines are about 50 degrees. Is this normal or I must to down current values (currently 1.6A)?

You should drop your current levels on the steppers. We typically calculate to around half the rated maximum, so 1A on a 2A motor.
