Strange issue with my build

I may try this next. I’m unsure if the lower axis holder will allow that though. It looks like where the timing belt mounts is pretty close to the bottom of the upper axis with the standard spacers in there.

Oh, that’s right. If the corner tops close against the corner bottoms then it can’t clamp. You might have to add shims on top of the upper rail to still have any clamping force.

So I’m pretty new around here and have only semi-recently built one, but are you checking this with everything else already tight? Does all of your conduit sit nice with all of your corner and carrier/gantry/truck clamps loose?

Alright, I’m fairly certain that I’ve found the issue.

Turns out that if you have an ‘assistant’ that really really wants to do a super good job helping dad, and this assistant tightens the holy water right out of the center bolt they can deform the center enough to cause the issue that I’m seeing.

I’m re-printing the entire center carriage and I’ll let ya’ll know if that doesn’t fix things.
