Got ahead of myself and had to try out the 7w laser. Cuts 2.8mm plywood in 3 passes, but I need to run a focusing script (Focus lines on the board are from my old mpcnc and 2.8w laser). Still have the air assist to attach, and need to figure out a better program than estlcam + manual gcode editing for the laser.

You should check out Lightburn.
You can play with it full featured for 30 days. I ended up buying it. I feel it’s totally worth it if you’re going to be doing a lot of lasering.
Note: I have no affiliation with them. I just use it at home and think it’s great.
Yeah, that was what I had in mind based on jtech’s suggestions. Just didn’t want to set it up and learn how to use it yet.
