Z Axis going down to ∞

Last week I switched from a small device with GRBL to a bigger MPCNC with Marlin (2.1.1 //Rambo). Estlecam and RepetierHost. It’s a CNC. Due to transition GRBL > Marlin I did some experimenting. It worked, but for several days now the Z axis continues to go downwards “infinitely”. It’s like it can’t find the 0. Finally stops on “Print Halted”. Moving the z up and down via LCD or RepetierHost is no problem, it is always at “Home”. When executing a job, it stops at Z:1.5 at the first Z axis movement. Initially thought it was a hardware problem, checked the cables, installed a new stepper, swapped the X and Z (the problem is on the X). End stoppers ordered, but already in transit for a few days. So moved on to software problem. On LCD “Reset All Coordinates”, via RepetierHost via command “G92 X0 Y0 Z0@isathome”. Problem still unsolved.

Just saw a similar problem on the X axis, looks like I’m not the only one.

Z isn’t usually homed so if you do that it goes on forever.

On the jackpot it’s disabled because someone just had to push the button…
