Z-axis not perpindicular, waves in spoilboard after clearing

I had decided I wanted to get my bed completely level, so I tried out a 1 inch flat bit and cleared out 1mm.

Generally looks good, but I have waves parallel to one axis which makes me think my z axis isn’t perpendicular. I tried searching forums for similar problems, anyone have suggestions or the right search term?

You can print something like this:

Depending on your mount, you can shim it enough to be straight.

I’ve also seen someone bend a wire and put it in the chuck.

Mine had little waves in it too after leveling. It wasn’t quite deep enough for my finger nail to catch it. I figured it was levels in magnitude more level than when it started, which is 1000% better than what I actually needed it to be.
